Salt & vinegar is Walkers’ third best selling flavour, after ready salted (no1) and cheese & onion (no 2). There is popular discontent at the fact that Walkers choose to make salt & vinegar bags green (the colour traditionally reserved for cheese & onion flavour) as opposed to the normal blue. Some people think Walkers changed the colours at some point but the company says this has always been the case – it’s just that other brands have followed a different tradition.
